Dundo - Four members of the same family (mother and three children) died as a consequence of a fire that broke out in a residence on Monday in the municipality of Chitato, Lunda-Norte Province.
According to a note from the Civil Protection and Fire Service, to which ANGOP had access Tuesday, the incident caused by negligence in the storage of gasoline, which a family sold, caused serious burns to three other people, who are under medical care.
A note states that the fire also caused partial destruction of the residence.
To show solidarity, the governor of Lunda-Norte, Filomena Miza Aires, visited the bereaved family and assured that the Chitato municipal administration is providing support for a dignified funeral.
At the time, she appealed to the population to avoid storing fuel in homes, so that situations like this do not happen again. HD/MRA/DOJ
