Luena - The provincial governor of Moxico, Gonçalves Muandumba, on Thursday advised municipal administrators to terminate contracts with companies that fail to meet execution deadlines of the projects of the Integrated Intervention Plan for Municipalities (PIIM).
In some municipalities of the province, especially Bundas and Alto Zambeze, some companies have already benefited from the funds, but without presenting any physical execution of works, so far.
During his speech at a meeting with municipal administrators to analyse the level of execution of PIIM projects, Muandumba advised those officials to terminate the contracts, by legal means, with companies that do not offer the necessary conditions.
The governor recommended the administrators to avoid paying to non-compliant companies, in order to avoid such constraints, demanding rigour in the inspection.
