Youth Council plans to send 100 students for training in Venezuela

Luanda - The National Youth Council (CNJ) intends to send, in the near future, one hundred young people to the Republic of Venezuela, to attend bachelor's and master's courses, on a scholarship basis, according to its chairperson, Isaías Kalunga.

Isaías Kalunga who was speaking Thursday, in Luanda, to the press at the end of a meeting with the Venezuelan ambassador to Angola, Marion Pena Labrador, highlighted that the measure is part of the organization's efforts to contribute, with the Executive, to quality training for young Angolans.

He explained that they will continue the partnership with the Venezuelan Embassy, so that, in the near future, young people can benefit from face-to-face and online training in this country.

He recalled that the CNJ has partnerships with several educational institutions in Angola. He said that the focus is on training men in countries with quality education and that are open to supporting Angola.

In turn, the ambassador of the Republic of Venezuela, Marion Pena Labrador, said that his country is open to helping Angola, through the CNJ, in the field of education. He guaranteed that he will advocate
with a CNJ-approved institution, in his country, for the signing of a formal partnership in the most diverse areas.

He highlighted that they look at the training of young people as an important pillar that contributes to the diversification of the economy. He said that they will take advantage of the partnership with the CNJ, to review what has already been done regarding the training of Angolans in Venezuela. SJ/OHA/TED/DOJ
