Luanda - The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the MPLA regretted Monday the death of the King of Ndongo, Buba Nvula Ndala Mana, which occurred on September 8 victim of illness in his official residence, at the age of 101.
In a communiqué sent to ANGOP, this body expresses that due to the unfortunate occurrence, a few days after the People of Malanje have lost another distinguished son of the Earth, the Political Bureau addresses to the family, in particular, and to the People of Malanje, in general, deep feelings of regret.
The deceased was born in Ndongo, Jurisdiction of Ndala Mana, Commune of Mbanje-a-Ngola, Municipality of Cahombo.
His reign, which lasted nearly three decades, was marked by the quality of being open to dialogue, to the point of suppressing certain traditional rituals. ART/NIC
