Luanda - The health authorities announced on Friday the registration of 335 new cases, 21 recovered patients and 2 deaths.
The figures were disclosed by the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, during the usual update session, noting that 194 were men and 141 women, aged between 1 and 80 years.
According to Mufinda, 264 were diagnosed in Luanda, 37 in Huíla, 14 in Huambo, 11 in Cabinda, 3 in Benguela, 2 in Bié, 2 in Cunene, 1 in Bengo and 1 in Malanje.
Amongst the recovered patients, he said, 16 lived in Luanda, 3 in Bié, 1 in Huambo and 1 in Benguela.
The general figures show a total of 30,030 positive cases, with 651 deaths, 25,650 recovered and 3,729 active. Of the active cases, 22 are critical, 41 serious, 156 moderate, 66 light and 3,454 asymptomatic.
Laboratories processed 2,481 samples, with a daily positivity rate of 14 per cent.
At the country level there are 51 people in institutional quarantine, 1,645 under epidemiological surveillance and 275 in treatment centres.
