Luanda – The Angolan Health authorities announced this Thursday 420 new infections, 411 recoveries and 11 deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to data from the daily bulletin, 326 infections were diagnosed in Luanda, 16 in Huambo, 15 in Benguela, 13 in Uíge, 11 in Bié, 9 in Namibe, 6 in Huíla, 5 in Cabinda, 4 in Cunene, Cuando Cubango, Malanje and Moxico, and 2 in Cuanza Sul.
With ages ranging from 1 month to 93 years, the list includes 222 male and 198 female patients.
Regarding the recoveries, 287 live in Luanda, 43 in Huíla, 32 in Cuando Cubango, 20 in Huambo, 10 in Bié, 9 in Namibe, 7 in Malanje, 2 in Moxico and 1 in Lunda Sul.
The deaths were registered in Luanda, with 7, Namibe with 3 and Malanje with 1, respectively.
In the last 24 hours, labs processed 3,260 samples.
There are 330 patients in treatment centers, while 225 citizens were placed in institutional quarantine and 2,522 contacts of positive cases are under epidemiological surveillance.
Angola has an overall of 51, 827 cases, of which 1,371 deaths, 45,918 recoveries and 4,538 active.
On the current diseased there are; 34 critical, 43 severe, 151 moderate, 82 mild and 4228 asymptomatic.
