Luanda – Angola has reported 280 new cases of Covid-19, 195 recoveries and six deaths in the last 24 hours.
The information was released Friday evening in Luanda by the secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda.
According to the official, during the daily Covid-19 briefing, of the infections above, 222 have been detected in the capital, Luanda and 19 in Huíla province (south).
10 cases have been recorded in Huambo (centre), six in Cabinda (north), four in Zaire (north), three in Bié (centre), two in Uíge (north) and one in Benguela (centre).
The infections have hit people with ages from three months to 83 years, including 159 males and 121 females.
Luanda has recorded 146 recoveries, Huambo (20), Benguela (17), Huíla (05), Uíge (05), Bié (01) and Cuanza Norte (01).
The dead are Angolan nationals based in Luanda (04), Benguela (01) and Cuanza Norte (one).
Angola’s current Covid-19 statistics show 28.201 positive cases, 628 deaths, 24.698 recoveries and 2.875 active patients.
