Luanda - At least 141 patients recovered, 130 new infections and 4 deaths were reported in the latest 24 hours, the country’s health authorities announced Friday.
Recoveries were reported in the provinces of Luanda with 127, 7 in Huambo, 5 in Huíla and 2 in Cuango Cubango.
The medical bulletin also mentioned new cases as having been detected in the provinces of Luanda 65.
The source added that 29 were reported in Huambo, 10 in Huíla, 8 in Benguela, 6 in Cabinda, 3 in Bié, 3 in Zaire, 2 in Lunda Norte, 2 in Malanje, 1 in Lunda Sul and 1 in Namibe.
The new infections feature 70 men and 60 women, with ages ranging from 6 months to 75 years.
The deaths involve 3 male and 1 female citizens, and occurred in Huambo with 2, Huíla 1 and Luanda 1 case.
Angola has currently 36,455 positive cases, 819 deaths, 30,101 recoveries and 5,535 active patients.
