Luanda – The Angolan Health authorities announced, this Sunday, 133 new infections, 84 recoveries and 4 deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
According to the daily bulletin, 100 new infections were diagnosed in Luanda, 15 in Uíge and 15 in Zaire, 2 in Benguela and 1 in Huíla.
With ages between 9 months to 87 years, the list includes 76 males and 57 females.
Among those recovered, aged between 10 months and 72 years, 72 of them reside in Luanda, 5 in Moxico and 5 in Namibe, and 4 in Benguela.
The report on the deaths that occurred informs that 3 were males and 1 female. Ttwo of the deaths happened in Benguela, one in Luanda and one in Huíla.
In the last 24 hours, 1 201 samples were processed by RT-PCR, with a positivity rate of 10.3%.
There are 287 citizens hospitalized in the treatment centres, while 92 citizens are in institutional quarantine and 5,214 contacts of positive cases are under epidemiological surveillance.
Angola now hás a total of 61,378 confirmed cases of infections, of which 1,622 deaths, 49,601 recovered and 10,155 active.
Of the current diseased, 28 are in critical condition, 34 severe, 141 moderate, 84 mild and 9868 asymptomatic.
