Luanda – Angolan health authorities announced last Wednesday 93 new infections, one death and 283 people recovered.
The statistics are expressed in Covid-19 daily update report, stating that 52 infections were diagnosed in Luanda, 17 Huambo, 8 in Zaire, 6 in Uíge, 4 in Cabinda, 3 in Moxico, while the provinces of Bengo, Benguela and Huila reported one each.
One person, a male aged 59 years old and resident in Luanda, died of covid-19-related infection.
As for the recoveries, 168 are residents in Luanda, 52 in Lunda Norte, 33 in Uíge, 24 in Benguela, 5 in Namibe and 1 in Moxico, with group age between 4 months and 89 years old.
The country’s global tally stands at 64,126 infections, 1,793 deaths, 53,116 recoveries and 9,307 active patients.
