Luanda - Angola’s Court of Auditors (TC) is attending the XXIV International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI) taking place from November 07-11 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The country is being represented at the event by a delegation led by the TC president, Exalgina Gambôa, and is integrated by the councilor judges Fausto de Carvalho Simões and Arlete Conceição.
Senior officials from the institution are also joining the delegation.
The event will discuss two main themes such as““The work of Supreme Audit Institutions in the face of public calamities” and “Global voice, global outcome, and far-reaching impact”.
The International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI) is the supreme body of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI). It brings together around 800 full, associate, and affiliated members of the organisation with the purpose of making strategic decisions.
The meeting takes place every three years and is headed by the president of the Supreme Audit Institution of the country hosting the event.
The first INCOSAI, during which the INTOSAI was founded, took place in Havana (Cuba). The last one was in Moscow (Russia), in 2019.
