Malanje – a total of 7,583 criminal cases of embezzlement, homicide, robbery, fraud, among others, await judgment at the Provincial Court of Malanje.
The information is contained in the final communiqué of the 1st ordinary session of the Provincial Judicial Coordination Commission, held on Thursday (28), in the city of Malanje.
According to the document, from January to date, the court has received 282 cases.
Chaired by the presiding judge of the Provincial Court, Neves Moxi, the meeting addressed aspects linked to the interaction between the justice bodies, pending proceedings, their main causes, the functioning of guarantee judges, among others.
The meeting recommended that justice bodies request the provincial government to allocate residences for magistrates.
It also recommended the holding of technical meetings between the Court, Public Prosecutor's Office and the Criminal Investigation Service, with a view to discussing procedures and adopting joint procedural instruction measures.
The meeting was attended by magistrates from the Public Ministry and Judiciary from the common and military forum, Ombudsman's Office, National Police, among other bodies that intervene in the administration of justice.
