Luanda - Audit Courts of Angola and Senegal have focused on strengthening of the partnership between the two public financial supervision institutions
The two institutions signed Tuesday in Luanda a Protocol of Technical and Scientific Cooperation, through the Chief Judges of the Angolan Court of Auditor Exalgina Gambôa and her Senegalese counterpart, Mamadou Faye.
Exalgina Gambôa praised the move, adding that the ceremony represents historic milestone in the creation of conditions for an effective exchange of experience and sharing of knowledge in the field of auditing public finances.
She reiterated the commitment of both institutions to organising and training of staff for efficient performance of their constitutionally mandated duties.
Gambôa said Angola was relying on the experience of its Senegalese counterpart with internationally recognised experience.
The Chief Judge of the Audit Court of Senegal, Mamadou Faye, has been in Angola for a four-day visit started on December 12.
