Luanda - The meeting to review the implementation of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), which started last Thursday afternoon in Luanda, continues its work on Saturday, as it was inconclusive.
Thursday's session was chaired by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, and was attended by the governors of the country's eighteen provinces.
Launched in June 2019, in an initiative of President João Lourenço, PIIM aims to materialize Public Investment Actions (PIP), Development Support Expenses and Regular Activities.
It also aims to increase the autonomy of the 164 municipalities in the country within the scope of the policy of decentralization of administrative competences and, in this way, increase the citizens’ quality of living, throughout the national territory, among other actions.
