Luanda – The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, appointed this Wednesday Mário Augusto Caetano de Sousa as Minister of Economy and Planning, replacing Sérgio de Sousa Mendes dos Santos.
President Lourenço also appointed Dalva Maurícia Calombo Ringote Allen, as Secretary of State for Economy.
Still this Wednesday, João Lourenço appointed Cristino Mário Ndeitunga to the position of deputy governor of Luanda Province for Technical Services and Infrastructures.
Before these appointments, the President of the Republic sacked Sérgio de Sousa Mendes dos Santos as Minister of Economy and Planning, a post to which he had been appointed in January 2020.
On another Decree, President Lourenço sacked Mário Augusto Caetano de Sousa as Secretary of State for Economy, a position to which he had been appointed in January 2020.
The Head of State also sacked Elisabeth de Fátima da Fonseca Tavares Matos Rafael, as deputy governor of Luanda Province for Technical Services and Infrastructure, appointed in May 2019.
Luanda Railway Company
Also this Wednesday, the President of the Republic appointed Judite Armando Pereira, to the position of non-executive director of the Luanda Railway Company (C.F.L).
On another decree signed this Wednesday, João Lourenço dismissed António Alberto Mendes da Conceição from the position of executive director of the Moçâmedes Railway Company (C.F.M).
