Luanda - Angolan president João Lourenço on Wednesday held a telephone conversation with his counterpart from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Félix Tshisekedi, with a view to strengthening bilateral relations.
The two heads of state discussed regional issues during their telephone conversation, according to a press release from the Presidency.
The Angolan Head of State attended on Saturday the inauguration ceremony of President Félix Tshisekedi, who was re-elected for a second five-year term at the head of the DRC.
Tshisekedi won the presidential elections held in December with over 73 percent of the votes. VC/DAN/AMP
