Luanda – Angolan minister of National Defence and Homeland Veterans João Ernesto dos Santos Friday congratulated the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) on their 30th anniversary celebrated on Saturday, October 09.
In a press release, João Ernesto dos Santos describes the date as an "extremely important event, adding it means the Angolan Armed Force have reached adulthood”
The official underlined the fact that the FAA have "enormous responsibilities" in the context of national security and defence of the Angolan State.
According to him, these are non-negotiable assumptions in the relationship with other agents in the international political scenario of which the Angolan State is an integral part.
In the document, the minister also highlighted the FAA contribution to the fight against Covid-19 and other opportunistic diseases.
