Catumbela – At least four pilots of the Angolan National Air Force concluded Monday a training of pilot instructors to operate K8-W aircraft recently acquired from China.
The training, which was conducted by Chinese technicians from October 22 to December 14, improved, among others, techniques related to simple, complex piloting, low and medium altitude navigation, wireless instrument flights and pre-pump simulation flights.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Minister of National Defense and Veterans of the Homeland, João Ernesto dos Santos, highlighted the investment in the training of pilot instructors, considering the technical and operational specification of the aircraft.
In the meantime, the minister urged instructors to work with a high sense of mission and effort in the training of other national pilots.
The Commander of the Airborne Regiment of Fighter Plane Jose Vaz, in his turn, said the course allowed to better understand the new aircraft, their operability in all phases of flight and operation of the on-board equipment.
