Dolisie: Angolan General Consul in Niari Department, Republic of the Congo, João Viegas, Thursday confirmed that conditions have been created for the Angolan to vote in the August 24 elections.
Viegas told ANGOP that every thing had been done for the electoral process to happens with safety and transparency.
The Angolan consulate in Dolisie has a polling station to serve 270 registered voters, of more than 3,000 Angolans residing in the region.
He spoke of the ongoing process of a selection of polling station staff, the installation of technical means, the communications network and the training of electoral agents.
The diplomat highlighted the good relations with the Niari authorities, who promptly ensured the security of the polling venue.
In turn, the president of the Angolan community in Dolisie, Henriques Nzusi Duda, said that a campaign is being carried out so that voters can exercise their right to vote in a civic way.
