Luanda - Angola and DR Congo have been working together, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to attract investors from that Latin American country to develop activities in both African countries.
According to a press release, the ambassadors of the two countries in Bueno Aires, Azevedo Francisco and Daniel Mubabinge, respectively, are engaged in creating an environment for Argentine businesspeople investment.
During yesterday's meeting, diplomats hope that business cooperation and commercial exchanges will contribute to bilateral social and economic development.
According to the two diplomats, Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo together have more than 130 million hectares of arable land, offering a good business climate in the areas of agriculture and the processing of raw materials.
Angola and the DRC are two neighboring countries that share a vast land and river border of more than 2.500 kilometers.
Both are members of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the African Union (AU) and maintain cooperative relations in several areas, with emphasis on issues linked to peace, stability and security in the region.
