Luanda - The Angolan film "The Price", written by Mac Gounell, Tundavala Júnior, Paulina Alê and Dorivalda, will be displayed Wednesday in Luanda as part of the "Cine Palácio de Ferro" program.
The film tells the story of Manuel and Tina, a couple who decide to spend a long weekend in a hotel in Luanda.
However, everything starts to get complicated when, along the way, they run over an eight-year-old boy, the son of a poor family, refusing to take responsibility for the accident, ending up abandoning the boy.
Cine Palácio de Ferro" is a project by Angolan director and screenwriter Sandra Saquita, who officially presented her project on 15 December 2022, with the presentation of the film "Mona Nkweto" by Mbanje Studio.
The films "Chaduka", "Se as Mulheres Fossem Unidas" and "Afro Lisboa" have also been displyed at this cinema.
According to Sandra Saquita, the project has been created as a gateway for the distribution works made by Angolan filmmakers, allowing them to be valued and publicized.
