Luanda - A multidisciplinary festival, called "Ntwala Oh Yeah!", takes place from Friday to Sunday in Luanda, promoted by the company Konono Soul Arts.
It's an international project, which will feature the participation of 14 national and 6 foreign artists, according to the mentor of the event, Jack Kanga.
According to the source, the intention is to boost the expansion of local art, serve as a platform for exposing local and foreign artists, in addition to offering artists a global network.
With an annual agenda, in different cities of the country, this edition will take place at UNAP (National Union of Plastic Artists), in Luanda.
The festival also aims to reach at least twenty thousand spectators in the first edition of the event.
"Music, being the most subscribed discipline at the festival, had a total of 10 candidates, followed by spoken word and visual arts, which had three candidates from each of the disciplines, literature with two and dance with a single candidate", he added.
During three days and in different places, there will be twenty shows of music, spoken word, literature, visual arts and dance, talks, networking, book launches and tourist adventure.
Besides music, visual arts, spoken word, literature and dance, the festival also focuses on promoting emerging artists.
"The event promises to entertain the public, but also serve as an education tool on copyright issues through talks", he underlined.
Ntwala Oh Yeah is a project by Konono Soul Arts, a company founded by artist A'mosi Just a Label. A'mosi is an Angolan artist, who became known with his Ep signed as Jack Nkanga.
