Uíge – The Kimpa Vita public University has 1420 vacancies available in the seven undergraduate courses for the next education year 2024/2025.
Registration for the entrance exams began on Monday and will end on the 15th of this month.
Speaking to ANGOP, the University's vice-rector, Mampuya Fidel, explained that compared to the previous year (2023/2024), there is an increase of 110 places.
He added that 840 places are for the regular course and 580 for working students, revealing that Law courses have 200 places and Economics courses 140, thus registering the largest number of places in relation to the other courses.
Kimpa Vita University has existed since 2011 and offers courses such as Law, Economics, Accounting and Management, Nursing, Agronomy, Hydraulic Engineering and Computer Science.
Meanwhile, the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences (ISCED) has 890 places available in the 12 courses taught, 100 fewer than in the previous academic year (2023-2024).
The institution also trains teachers in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History, Portuguese, English and French, and Basic, School and Special Education. NM/PBC/MRA/DOJ
