Zango - The Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE) received on Friday the “ISO 9001” Quality Management System certification, a recognition that aims to reward the excellence and continuous improvement in the management process of this industrial park.
To obtain this certificate, ZEE improved numerous aspects that provided benefits and advantages, with emphasis on operational efficiency, increased customer satisfaction, strengthening of reputation and competitive advantage.
According to the ZEE CEO, Manuel Pedro, this achievement is fundamental to reinforce its commitment to quality and the pursuit of excellence in its daily activities.
He also mentioned that it took three years to achieve this certificate, which rewards the institution and increases levels of responsibility.
“This certification represents our commitment to excellence, above all our alignment with ZEE's strategic plan, which includes a series of measures, such as optimizing and increasing services, reflecting services in customer satisfaction and improving internal processes,” he said.
The term ISO 9001 refers to a group of technical standards that establish a quality management model for organizations in general, whatever their type or size.
ISO is a non-governmental organization founded in 1947 in London, then transferred in 1949 to Geneva and currently present in around 189 countries. Its function is to promote the standardization of products and services, so that their quality is permanently improved. DP/QCB/AMP
