Police seize 10,000 liters of smuggled fuel in Cabinda

Cabinda – A total of 10 000 liters of fuel intended for smuggling were seized by the National Police, in the last two days, in the municipality of Cacongo, province of Cabinda.

According to the commander of the Massabi commune police station, inspector Erbi Gimbi, the seizure occurred on suspicion of smuggling during an operation on three clandestine warehouses on the border between Massabi (Angola) and Ponta Negra (Republic of Congo).

Diesel, lighting oil and gasoline packed in 25, 30 and 200 liter drums were seized, as well as 7 vehicles, 31 motorcycles and two national citizens involved in this practice, already sent to the Criminal Investigation Service.
