Angola at United Nations Fund Conference

Luanda - An Angolan delegation is participating in the 33rd Regional Conference of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Fund (FAO), which takes place from the 18th to the 20th of this month in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.

At the event, the country is represented by the Angolan ambassador to Italy, Fátima Jardim, and the Angolan ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, Baltazar Diogo Cristóvão, according to a press release to which ANGOP had access this Thursday.

The activities of the FAO Regional Conference takes place under the motto “Agri-food resilience system and inclusive rural transformation”, with a view to improving production, nutrition, the environment and the population's conditions.

The FAO Regional Conference provides a platform for sharing experience among several countries on the design, development and implementation of Agri-food Systems Transformation Programs.
