Luanda - Angola and India intend to boost cooperation in the field of hydrocarbons, in order to contribute to a stable business environment between the two countries.

However, the minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, has held a meeting with the Indian ambassador to Angola, Phatibha Parkhar, in order to address issues related to business in the sector.

Parkhar promised, at the end of the meeting, to convey the message to his government and Indian businesspeople on the business opportunities in Angola, about which she was informed.

Cooperation between Angola and India in the field of hydrocarbons and mineral resources dominated the meeting between Minister Diamantino Azevedo and Ambassador Phatibha Parkhar.

India is a destination for part of Angolan oil and diamonds, with some businesspeople from that country who have been operating in Angola in various areas.
