Luanda - Domingos José Tomás, was elected on Sunday on Sunday as the new chairperson of Progresso Associação Sambizanga (PAS), at an assembly attended by 59 members.
Domingos Tomás, who has also led the Luanda Provincial Football Association (APFL) for three terms, replaces the resigning Silvestre Kissari.
According to the new president of Progresso, in his 2024/2028 mandate he plans to reorganize the club administratively and financially to return to football first division within three years, after relegation in the 2021/22 season.
Progresso's football team included players like Ginguma, Kiferro, Praia, Santinho, Luís Cão, António Jaime, Salviano Magalhães, Mama, Santo António, Vata, Pedro Mantorras, among others.
