Luanda - Petro de Luanda coach Tony Cosano said Tuesday that his squad lost in detail to Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, by 0-1, in the second round match of Group C, of the African Football Champion Clubs League.

“We had the game under control, but in a quick move we conceded a goal. However, we will continue to work to achieve a victory in the next challenge,” said the coach, adding that, for the performance, particularly in the first half, the win would be the fair result.

The Spanish coach acknowledged that qualifying for the quarter-finals is becoming increasingly difficult, but he believes it is still possible.

On his turn, the Wydad coach Frouzi Benzarti said it was a balanced game and that effectiveness was decisive for the victory, as his team scored one of the two opportunities created.

The Tunisian coach, in the service of the Moroccan team said that it was important to start the current edition of the Champions League with triumph, after not having played the opening match against the Kaiser Chiefs of South Africa.
