Luanda - The Angolan wrestling team will attend, from 17 to 22 May, in the eighth participation in the African Greco-Roman and Olympic freestyle Championship, to be held in the city of El Jadida, in Morocco.
The national team has nine fighters, four of which are registered in the two specialties of the event in which Angola has so far won six bronze medals from 2007 to 2020.
These are the athletes Armando Ntoya, António Mambu, Jones Mabungu and team captain Francisco de Deus “Kadima”.
Also included on the list are; Igor Tumba, Kieto Pacheco, Pedro Makibi, Manzo Diatuka and Ivu Kisungu.
Angola has debuted in 2007, in Egypt, where it won the bronze medal. This was followed by the presence in 2009, in Morocco, with two bronze medals.
