Luanda - Interclube conceded today (Saturday), in Luanda, a home defeat to Wiliete de Benguela, by 1-3, at the 22 de Junho Stadium, in the 2nd round of the first division National Football Championship "Girabola2023/24".
Wiliete's goals were scored by Cláudio (53' penalty), Jiresse (71'), Cabibi (90+3). Gladilson scored for the hosts (90+6).
This is the second defeat for the team, who at the start of the competition lost to Desportivo da Huíla, 0-1, in Lubango.
At the beginning, the hosts started more offensively and after 2 minutes, Jamanta, isolated himself in the penalty area, but the shot went wide of the Wiliete de Benguela goalkeeper's goal.
A completely balanced game, it was at 42' that there was a great moment of ineffectiveness from Wiliete. Striker Naigel produced an almost perfect play, dodging the ball towards Inter's goalkeeper (Rui), but with the goal open, he missed the shot.
The game reached halftime with a scoreless score, despite there having been opportunities for both sides.
