Bouaké – Angolan striker Gelson Dala was elected "Man of the match" in Angola’s 3-2 win over Mauritania on Saturday in the second game of Group D of the Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Côte d`Ivoire.
The 27-year-old, who put up an exceptional performance scoring a brace in the match, said he was happy with his individual nomination and praised the collective victory, underlining that the team is now more encouraged for the Tuesday encounter against Burkina Faso.
Angola tops group D with 4 points, followed by Burkina Faso (4), who drew 1-1 with Algeria on Saturday, while Algeria are third with (2) and Mauritania (00).MC/AMP
