Luena: The FC Bravos do Maquis squad last Saturday at home, in Luena City, eastern Moxico Province, had a goalless draw with Ferrovia do Huambo, a game counting for the fourth round of the top division National Football Championship (Girabola2021), thus getting delayed in the race to take over the lead of the tournament.
With this result, the Moxico squad have 7 points in the second position of the standing of the Girabola, currently lead by Petro de Luanda with 9 points and who are to face Uige Province’s Santa Rita da Cássia team this Sunday, still for the fourth round of the championship.
The game had a one-minute silence homage to the former player of the Sagrada Esperança football team, Fatiti, who passed away on Saturday dawn.
In the next round, FC Bravos do Maquis will face Cuando Cubango FC, while Ferrovia do Huambo will reeive the Recreativo do Libolo squad.
