Luanda – The Angola national team coach, Portuguese Pedro Gonçalves, considered positive the two friendly matches included in the first FIFA date of the year, played on the 22nd and 25th of March in the Kingdom of Morocco.

In a video published on the official website of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), the coach highlighted the players' good performance during the double commitment.

“We leave here with the feeling that we are making progress. We had two extremely competitive challenges against Morocco (0-1), a reference in Africa, and the Comoros Islands (0-0), which has been growing substantially'', he highlighted.

He informed, however, that the main objective was to be able to observe the 22 called up athletes, depending on upcoming official commitments.

Angola will face similar teams Eswatine and Cameroon in June, qualifier for the 2026 World Championship, to be played in Mexico, Canada and the United States of America.
