Luanda - The national football team faces the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on Saturday in a warm-up match for the African Cup of Nations (CAN'2023), to be held from January 13 to February 11 this year, in Côte de Ivoire.

The match is scheduled for 12 noon in Angola, in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), without the presence of striker Mabululo, who plays in Egypt.

The two teams, it should be remembered, played for the last time on October 17 last year at the Bonfim stadium, in Setúbal, Portugal, which ended in a draw (0-0), also in a friendly.

The Palancas Negras (the official name of the national team) are in group D with Algeria, Burkina Faso and Mauritania.

The Congolese are part of the F series with the similarities of Morocco, Tanzania and Zambia. Congo won two CAN titles (1968 and 1974). WR/FN/DOJ
