Luanda - Angolan gymnast Luana Gomes has qualified for the World Rhythmic Championships, to be held from August 23 to 28, in Spain.
This achievement was the result of the third position in the individual category, in the African Gymnastics Championships, held in Moka, Mauritius.
Besides this achievement, the country's representative also obtained two gold medals, one in archery and another in the mass. In rhythmic gymnastics ribbon, everyone had a silver medal.
The National Team, made up of Elizabeth Mangundo and Aysha Morgado, secured the third place, adding a total of six (6) medals, two (2) gold, two (2) silver and two (2) bronze.
Egypt were the winners, followed by South Africa.
