Luanda - The senior women's national handball team won, Monday, in Accra, the Algerian counterpart, by 38-18, in the closing match of the group stage of the tournament of the 13th edition of the African Games, which takes place in Ghana.
At halftime, the Angolan team already had a 22-9 lead, demonstrating all its ability and competitive superiority.
Earlier, the "Pearls" (Angola's handball nickname) overcame Burkina Faso (47-13) and Ghana (35-13), respectively, for the first and second rounds of the competition.
In the next round, the Angolan team may face the winner of the match between Cameroon and Congo.
