Luanda - The national junior women's handball team finished, this Monday, in Hungary, their preparation aiming for the African Championship of the sport, to be played from the 7th to the 14th of the current month, in the city of Monastir, in Tunisia.
The Angolan squad, who are looking to retain the continental title, lost 27-29 to the Szekesfehervar men’s youth team in the fourth and final preparation game on Hungarian soil.
The group heads today (6 pm) to the competition stage, where it forms part of group A with its counterparts from Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Democratic Republic of Congo and Kenya.
In group B, there are the teams from Algeria, Tunisia, Madagascar, Mali, and Egypt (vice champion).
