Malanje - One billion 25 million and 907 thousand kwnzas is the amount made available, during the 2020/2023 triennium, by the Commercial Agriculture Development Project (PDAC), for the financing of 22 projects for the production, processing and transport of agricultural products, in Malanje province.
The amount benefited small and medium-sized companies, involved in the production of corn, beans and eggs, as well as in the assembly of corn meal and animal feed factories, which are scheduled to be operational this month.
The information was provided today, Wednesday, by the provincial coordinator of PDAC, Pedro Canga, during a visit he made to the recently financed transformation projects.
He said that the 22 projects are implemented in six of the 14 municipalities in the province, namely Malanje, Cacuso, Kiwaba Nzoji, Cangandala, Calandula and Mucari.
The source added that at this time, another 80 business plans are waiting for funding, with a view to boosting the value chain of the agricultural sector, increasing supply and stimulating the reduction of product prices in the market.

The second type of financing goes up to one million dollars, with 30 percent of the value of the project coming from the PDAC and 70 percent from the entrepreneur himself.
