Samba-Lucala - The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, António Francisco de Assis, considered the Samba Lucala Farm, located in the municipality of Samba Cajú, in Cuanza Norte, a true hub for grain production in the country and contributing to imports reduction.
For the minister, the climatic conditions, the vastness of arable land, as well as the technological equipment installed in the region make the Samba Lucala Farm a place for the large-scale production of corn, soybeans, wheat, beans and rice.
“We are precisely in an area that is a true center of corn and soybean production in the country”, he reinforced, in statements to the press, during the visit to the project with the Minister of National Defense, Former Combatants and Veterans of the Country, João Ernesto dos Santos , "Liberdade".
According to António de Assis, if the project is well carried out with focus, dedication and commitment, in addition to contributing to increasing food supply for the country, it will dignify and honor everyone who was involved in the conception, structuring and materialization of this great agricultural enterprise.
