Luanda - More than 120 startups have been registered for the 3rd edition of the innovation and entrepreneurship summit called "Angola Startup Summit by Unitel 2024", to take place on May 16 to 18 in Luanda, ANGOP has learnt.
According to the head of the innovation department of the mobile telecommunication company (Unitel), Henrique Costa, at least 20 institutional stands and 55 national and international speakers have confirmed their presence at the event.
Taking place at the Talatona Conference Centre (CCT), in the country's capital, the startup will include a conference on women leadership and others on entrepreneurship and innovation, with the aim of finding investment opportunities.
The summit is organized by the National Institute for the Support of Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (INAPEM), in partnership with Unitel.
It opens up opportunities for acceleration and incubation and to add facilities and financing instruments for participants, offering alternative solutions to emerging projects, adjustable to the stages of the entrepreneurial initiatives.
At the startup, emerging entrepreneurs have all the ecosystem's stakeholders at their disposal, namely incubators, accelerators, investors, study centers and banking and non-banking financial institutions. HM/VC/AMP
