Luanda - The periodic preventive maintenance of the Interbank Services Company (EMIS), taking place in the early hours this Monday (May 13), could disrupt the smooth operation of ATMs during this period.

In view of this fact, EMIS calls for maximum understanding from users for any inconvenience that may be caused by maintenance work.

EMIS, whose mission is to develop and operate the Angolan Payment System (SPA), is the operator of the Angolan interbank network that manages multi-cash cards and Automatic Payment Terminals (TPA).

Established in 2001, the company aims to contribute to the massification of electronic payments in Angola and to the general efficiency of the country's payment system, ensuring security, effectiveness, convenience and innovation, at the lowest possible cost. CPM/QCB/DOJ
